Creating my Article I

 Creating my Article

Today I want to show the process of creating and designing my article. Now my article is finished and saved as a Word Document. To create my article I will be using Lucidpress software, as I tested it before. 

So now I will chose the template that I mostly like

I choose this one because I like the layout and the fact I can add some images

Now I will add the title and subtitle

Then I add three shapes using left menu bar and then I will put images into them and also add coverlines.

Then I added current month and year - this is the date of the publication

Then I will add the central image and also the background copyright-free image on the right side of my cover

And now I have to be sure it fits my cover and and does not cover the headline. So I will right click onto the picture and then Arrange and next Send to back.

Now I will add some color underneath the coverlines - in my opinion dark blue will look good and will be consistent to the colors of my cover

Now I will work on my second page, there I want to add first piece of my article and also put the heading and sub-heading ,my name as an author and a pull quotation. I will need to add the columns dividing the page for three sections:

I think to this moment my work went smoothly, also Lucidpress software has very useful tools to create an outstanding and visible article. I think the main role play here the template that I have used. I'm happy with the final outcome of my cover. For the next project I can try and test another template and see how it works and what are the differences. In my opinion Lucidpress is it exactly made for journalist and writers. Also this software will help me in the future to become a professional writer.
